Berghaus are excellent at producing coats and jackets and smocks and just about any piece of important outerwear. Firstly, with 60 years of experience (their first shop was set up in the mid-60’s in Newcastle-upon-Tyne), they’ve learnt a thing or two about production and technology. And secondly, with that length in the game, they’ve developed a transient eye, seeing trends come and go. They’ve been around long enough to develop their own style and reputation, winning over pockets of loyal fans and dedicated Berghaus heads.
They’re renowned for colour blocking aesthetics, as exemplified by this Ski Smock 86, which takes the pastel notes of baby blue, soft pink and cream, and stitches them together into an all over pattern that’s light yet affirmative.
