Love denim? Enjoy drinking lager? In Manchester this weekend? Then you need to get over to the Manchester Union Brewery this weekend to hang out at Clobber Calm’s annual UK ‘Denim Hang’. The free event runs from midday with talks from a wide range of national and local brands including Levi Vintage Clothing, Redwing Shoes, Barnes & More, Forge Denim, & Sons, Joe & Co, 23oz Indigo with new Northern Quarter residents Rivet and
Hide offering an exclusive discount to all attendees. In addition Jersey Street Social will be on hand for haircuts and beard trims and the Denim Doctor will be on hand to repair jeans. Hosts Manchester Union will have free brewery tours and there will be a fully stocked bar with their pilsner and dark lager on offer as well as a range of cider, wines and soft drinks. 12.30-1PM LEATHER TALK Steve from Barnes and Moore kicks off proceedings with an insight into leather crafting and care.
1.30-2.30pm BRAND & RETAIL CHAT Panel discussion with Ben from Clobbercalm catching up with the guys from Forge Denim, &Sons and Joe & Co chatting life, brand and denim plus Q&A.
3.30-4.30PM Levi Vintage Clothing History Learn about how a well known brand has invested in their heritage and created a line that celebrates their history and why it is important plus Q&A.
5-6PM BREWERY TOUR Get an in-depth tour from our hosts at Manchester Union Lager where they are brewing Manchester’s first traditional craft lager.
