Dickies Launches Survivalist Range for 2022

Ahead of summer, Dickies dons military drab in a throwback to their 1920’s origins.

Dickies has just launched their Survivalist Collection, which features a whole range of military-inspired and functional pieces with unique textiles and camouflage-based prints.

Key items include a Pacific Packable Jacket, a zip-up pullover made from tear-resistant nylon ripstop. It’s light enough to pack into itself when travelling or de-layering and is finished with a double-layered hood, which makes it perfect for unpredictable weather.

Similarly, a Pacific Pant and Vest are designed with functional ideas in mind; they’re both lightweight but resistant references to already existing Dickies silhouettes.

Dickies start in the Southwest of the US in the 1920s, making hardworking items like denim bib overalls for farm and ranch workers. While Dickies is often associated with urban workwear, the brand’s origins are distinctly more outdoors.

The Survivalist collection embodies Dickies’ workwear past, bringing it up to the modern-day with technical features and modern design. Offering a mix of bold camo, traditional check and utility tailoring.

Other key products include the Camouflage Artondale Shirt, made of BCI certified duck canvas cotton, and Orting checked brushed flannel shirt.

The Survivalist range is available now from www.dickieslife.com
