Today we welcome a cool if somewhat controversial contender to the Wallaby throne courtesy of Belgian big hitter Dries Van Noten. Whilst the premium suede upper, tonal toe-stitching and rolling laces clearly sit this in familiar Wallaby territory none of us saw that chunky, grained rubber, off white under-sole happening. But this original upgrade somehow seems to work and gives the new shoe more of a sporty vibe without losing any of it’s classic charm. I imagine they’d look particularly amazing with a pair of khaki shorts and a chambray shirt too.
