In Jamaica, various models of Clarks became known affectionately as ‘bank-robbers’. Jamaica has a complex and exciting relationship with Clarks, it would seem, and whilst we aren’t suggesting that you – or anyone, for that matter – should rob a bank, IF you were to do so, it would make sense to do it in a pair of shoes with reinforced rubber soles.
