END x Saucony GRID 8500 ‘Lobster’

Honestly, I know it feels like I’m on commission for Saucony, but I’m just really, really into everything they’re doing at the moment, and here they are again with a release I’d probably swap my missus for. This time teaming up with top dogs END Clothing they present the GRID 8500 ‘Lobster’.

Inspired by the local delicacy from along the East Coast, a shellfish-inspired fabrication decks out the GRID 9000 uppers and GRID 8000 sole. Bringing seafood styling to one of the classics, delicate ‘jaffa’ suede and rich ‘orange peel’ leathers mimic the bright crustaceans, with weathered patina leathers on the tongue and collar.

For proper authenticity the trainers come caught in an actual fish net and are boxed in their own fancy little display tank, too. I mean, of course I wouldn’t actually swap my missus for a pair of these in a size 8 (she’d have none of it), but I’d give it a go.

This is also one of those mad occasions when you have to win an actual competition to then be allowed to buy the trainers and you can do so here.

A COMPETITION TO WIN THE CHANCE TO PAY FOR SOME TRAINERS?! MADNESS.

Absolutely well into house plants.
