Rounding off their 70th birthday celebrations in fine style Diadora have got together with Hanon once more to create the ‘Aberdeen’ Anorak. A jacket fully inspired by the glory days of 1980s terrace style that comes in an appropriately Aberdonian grey nylon shell with contrasting pops of fiery red on the collar, velcro closure and Kangaroo pocket. An old-school half-zip pullover it features a tonal pack-away adjustable hood, Kangaroo zip pocket with double side entry zip pockets, and a large side zip on the right side. Further details come in the form of dual-branded sleeve print, a 3M adjustable drawcord at the hem, and HANON ‘Aberdeen’ branding which you may recognise from the tongue of the Diadora ‘Aberdeen’.
Speaking of shoes this collab also sees the release of the Pallone D’oro that pays homage to the players who wore Diadora boots during the late 80’s and early 90’s and won the Pallone d’oro. Utilizing the iconic and recognisable upper of the 90’s football boot, the Diadora Pallone d’oro is hand-crafted entirely in Italy and has been combined with an indoor football outsole. Utilizing only the most premium materials, the upper comes dressed in soft black Kangaroo leather with material contrast applied in the form of premium suede on the toe bumper and lower mid-section of the shoe. The striking Diadora logo on each side is double layered using premium leather and appears in clean white backed with gold. Attention to detail is applied via a gold print on the white premium leather heel tab which features the Diadora logo and a small Italian flag. Each pair of Pallone d’oro will come with two laces sets, custom box, and special hang tag.
The HANON x Diadora ‘Aberdeen’ Anorak and Pallone d’oro shoe will be sold only by HANON from December 1st.
