HH-118389225-202 is Helly Hansen’s code name for archive and also the name of their AW20 collection, which itself is inspired by their ‘E-352 Offshore Survival Suit’ from the late 90s. A serious piece of kit that was developed for riggers, fisherman and rescue services working in the arctic and whose innovative technology and aesthetic has been reinterpreted by HH for modern tastes.
A key component of the collection is the “Arctic Survival” 3 way parka, which features a premium HELLY TECH(R) 3 PLY performance outer shell and PET filled inner jacket. Both of which can be worn individually or as one system. Whilst the layering system allows the wearer to tailor their gear to their exact needs based on weather and activity level, and is designed to keep them dry, warm and comfortable at all times. Whilst the reversible “immersion” puffa jackets utilise fully reversible premium nylons, blowable re-cycled PET insulation, PFC free DWR and reveal differing but equally functional utility compartments on each side of the jacket.
This limited collection of awesome archive apparel sadly doesn’t drop until this September though the SS20 collection should be arriving soon to whet (well keep dry) your outdoorsy appetites.
