For the second drop of their Marathon pack Karhu are taking us out on a jog around Helsinki in the area of Töölönlahti near the olympic stadium where runners pass the statue of legendary Finnish sprinter, Paavo Nurmi. Often listed as a ‘must run route’ the area is one of the most common places in the capital for running where huge amounts of people can be found training, especially on weekends. Taking place in this area is one of Finland’s oldest marathons the Kaisaniemen Run which features a wooden route and passes the Alvar Aalto designed Finlandia hall. Both of which have inspired the off-white aesthetics and suede overlays of this latest iteration of Karhu’s iconic Fusion 2.0 shoe.
