As a brand that has punctured the fashion market without really wanting to, Klättermusen could be forgiven for chasing trends via the collaborative link-ups that litter the landscape these days. Ostensibly an outdoor brand, they have remained true to their roots for their first official collaboration, a partnership with renowned Swedish textile artist Britta Marakatt-Labba.
The collaboration sees pieces centered around the shared brand values of craftsmanship, heritage and devotion to the environment. While it would have been easy to chase young talent to model the gear, instead real people are depicted, which is a refreshing change from the norm. All in all it’s a partnership that stays true to the Swedish brand’s DNA while pushing gently against its comfort zone.
