Mizuno Presents Sky Medal S

Bringing a trainer back from the archive is a bit like remastering an album. You take what went before and apply contemporary technology and techniques to enhance what was already great, and hopefully introduce the work to a new generation. Mizuno have dipped into their extensive back catalogue to bring out a new iteration of classic 90s runner, the Sky Medal S. This silhouette is the Japanese brand’s Revolver, Dark Side of the Moon, or Morning Glory – i.e. the one that everybody likes.

In keeping with the modus operandi of Mizuno’s Sportstyle collection, the Sky Medal S finds that sweet spot between tradition and innovation. The shoe balances straightforward shapes and bold choices when it comes to materials, sporting a premium suede and open mesh upper in a range of pleasing monochromatic colourways: dove grey, charcoal, and mustard yellow.
