Huge drop of New Balance at Aphrodite

We all know that when it comes to footwear over at Aphrodite, New Balance is a bit of a staff favourite. And for perfectly good reason. We reckon the brand caters to literally every possible need you could have trainer-wise. Nice colourways, comfortable kicks, something more athletic, something more refined, they have it all.

The recent intake of fresh stock has seen New Balance take the 730 model out of the archives, the 991 receive a brand new colourway and the 327 reimagined in both blue and triple black.

One of the first models to hold the ‘Made in England’ status, the New Balance 730 is a certified classic. The silhouette offers pure style and comfort, all while naturally falling into the much loved ‘dad trainer’ category with its retro aesthetic. Grabbing the model straight from the archives, New Balance has decided that it’s finally time to give the model a fresh makeover with ‘Grey’, ‘Navy’ and ‘Off-White’ pairs hitting the shelves. The upper of the shoe is constructed using a breathable mesh that finds itself encapsulated by supple suede overlays. An accented heel helps to break up the monochromatic visuals while New Balance branding arrives in the form of a leather ‘N’.

Elsewhere the culturally prolific New Balance 327 receives two new updates. Referencing the ‘70s when running shoe design took a shift in momentum, the silhouette lands in two new unique colourways of ‘sky blue’ and ‘magnet grey.’

With the latter a reference to the brand’s recently released, ‘Grey Day’ pack and the former boasting a vintage-inspired gum outsole, despite their differences the pair come crafted with the same lightweight construction that’s skyrocketed them to the top of footwear rotations around the globe.

Crafted with exaggerated proportions and asymmetrical visuals, breathable suede and mesh panelling make up the majority of their uppers. Flanked a large ‘N’ callout a nylon tongue sits above whilst below a rugged lug sole, lifted from the 355 trail running shoe, completes the design.

Finally, it’s the turn of the 991. A purveyor of the phrase, ‘if it’s not broke don’t fix it’ the 991 is one of those shoes you can never really get tired of looking at. Returning once more with a luxurious green pigskin construction, this latest iteration finds its Inspiration in the tones and textures of sandstone landscapes. Made in the UK using tried and tested methods, expect breezy mesh panelling, reflective detailing and tasteful embroidered branding.
