Nicholas Deakins Adle Fur Shoe

Hands up if you’ve got more shoes than a marathon running centipede?

I have. I’ve got more shoes than you could shake a stick at, though why anyone would ever want to shake a stick at a pair of shoes, I’ve no idea. I don’t even know why I said that. I could have come up with something better if I’d stopped to think. I’ve written it now though.

What to say about these?

Well, they’re what Deakins are known for. Shoes. Nice shoes at an affordable price point. No airs and graces or pretence about how they’re only available in a small wooden workshop in Japan/Dalston. These are made in Spain, as it goes. Sunny Spain. I’m going to Spain in May. You’re not interested are you?

Back to the shoes.

As the name suggests, these are fur lined. This leads me to my new winter mantra. Jackets are for innovation, shoes are for insulation. It makes me sound like a pure dickhead but who will be laughing when I’m standing there in my technical coat and snug shoes? Me, that’s who. And you, but mostly me.

Anyway, I’ll let you get on.
