For your average ‘sneakerhead’ Nike’s Air Force 1 is how us ‘trainerheads’ view the adidas Stan Smith, in that it’s a true design classic that really doesn’t need to be messed around with. Yet despite this fact both shoes have been privvy to more than their fair share of tinkering over the years, which I guess it what makes this clean monochrome and suede version of the AF-1 all the more appealing. They’ve kept everything that’s great about the shoe in tact and just added some suede to make them more appealing to those of us who are more trainers than sneakers. I think these could well be the feel good shoe of the summer.
