1995 was an interesting year, one that saw Eric Cantona getting done for kicking that fan, pea eating PM John Major handing his notice in, a cool 1% of the population gaining access to the internet, the driest summer on record and the release of one of Nike’s most iconic shoes the Air Max 95. Created by a team with Nike ACG designer Sergio Lozano at the helm, the 95 took it’s inspiration from the erosion of the earth as well as human muscles and vertebrae with the original prototype controversially not featuring a swoosh, though a small one was finally added further down the line.
