It’s mad to think that Nike gave the world it’s first glimpse of air cushioning way back in 1987 with the Air Max 1. It’s revolutionary air-sole (careful how you pronounce that) on show for all to see and providing a visual explanation as to just why they’re so comfortable to wear. Over 30 years on and the Air Max 1 is still an amazing shoe for a myriad of reasons and in all of it’s various guises. For 2018 Nike have created this premium material version to eleavte it’s staus further if that is humanly possible. Either way it’s a cracking looking sneaker that would look equally at home pushing the accelerator pedal on a Lamborghini as it would nipping out to bargain booze to get a bottle of Lambrini.
