Put on your rose-tinted glasses and prepare to reminisce, Nike have only gone and given us another Challenger OG. Using the classic debut ‘70s running silhouette as its source material, much to the delight of Beaverton purists everywhere, the trainers push just the right buttons when it comes to evoking a serious wave of sportswear nostalgia.
Featuring a lightweight makeup of suede and mesh coated in a colour-blocked foray of red, blue, and yellow, the Challenger comes with the same variable width lacing system it debuted all those years ago. Padded at the collar and sat atop a cushioning foam midsole, the pair finish proceedings with swoosh branding to the sides and a waffle traction rubber outsole for bonus retro points.
