Nike’s ISPA products are built of a problem solving philosophy of being able to handle unpredictable weather and activities – hence the acronym standing for Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt. Following on from footwear, this season they have released a jacket with the same pragmatic design principles. With taped seams and waterproof zips this almost transparent/white nylon jacket is a lightweight outerwear piece geared towards commuting and allowing as much freedom of movement as possible. Given that my Marple to Manchester commute has involved floods, muggers, car crashes and exploding cans of Diet Coke I’m particularly keen to put one of these bad boys through it’s paces.
