I’ve raved on about these Karl Parkas from Nudie before but seeing as they’re now available to buy and I’ve gone and got one please allow me to do some more big coat enthusing. If you’re after a good all-rounder to keep the cold out then Karl could be your man, well parka. It’s got the shape and comfort of a vintage military fishtail parka combined with the kind of a modern asymmetrical design that you’d expect from a dead good Swedish clothes company.
Available in black or green there’s also a nice surprise waiting beneath the 100% organic cotton shell in the form of a fully detachable quilted jacket. Which provides most of the warmth and can also be worn separately when the rain stops or if you’ve just been spotted scrumping apples and need to throw any angry orchard owners off your trail.
