Proper Issue 14 is here

Yep, after more twists and turns than a Northern Soul ‘nite’, Proper Magazine is back.

The 14th issue is 128 pages of understated showing off about clothes, shoes, music and work.

With some heavy trainer/sneaker features allied to some very witty tales of jobs from years gone by, the Footwork Issue is the name we have come up with.

Russ Gater talks us through perhaps the most impressive vintage Nike collection on planet earth, while seasonal specialities from all your favourite footwear brands means comprehensive coverage of all things trainery.

Clothing wise we’ve plumped for chats with the minds behind Palace Skateboards and Brooklyn We Go Hard and there’s an ace feature on Goretex pioneers Norrona.

Music wise, we’ve got the lowdown on the cult recording studio without which the Manchester music scene wouldn’t have been possible. It just happens to be in our hometown of Stockport.

As ever, strictly limited numbers are available and they will sell out. There are two covers to choose from, with the adidas blue colour available directly from us at shop.propermag.com, while a lovely shade of red can be found at more than 30 worldwide stockists in the coming days.

With a new distributor onboard, delivery should be slick and swift, even allowing for the seasonal deluge.

Is it our best issue yet? Well, if it wasn’t, we probably wouldn’t bother.

Buy it now.
