Look at this absolute beast of a jacket, it’s really not taking any prisoners is it? And whilst it may look like the type of kit the SAS would wear if they were stationed in Ordsall it actually hails from la belle France and the esteemed heritage outdoor brand Pyrenex. Featuring a 700 (duck) down padding and a removable hood it’s windproof, waterproof and warm as fuck. I’m not sure if Spoutnic means anything in particular in French but it sounds a bit like sputnik doesn’t it? An apt moniker for a jacket that’s both out of this world and ideal for carrying 9 bars of resin around in.
