RÆBURN SS22 keeps to the brand’s environmental commitments with a range produced in just enough quantities.
There’s a reason why many site Christopher Raeburn as one of the most important designers of the last 20 years, and a reason why his accolades are numerous and varied. Aside from being integral to the whole field of ethical and environmental fashion, Raeburn and his RÆBURN Lab pioneer fabrics, rework old pieces from parachutes and innovate to unimagined standards.
The RÆBURN SS22 Conceal Blouson is one of 50 – demonstrating the intentions of the Lab to never overproduce. It’s made from a combination of original 1980s British Desert DPM Trousers and US Desert ECWCS GORE-TEX uniform, resulting in what the brand refers to as a “RÆIMAGINED” camouflage variant.
The exaggerated external patch pockets continue to build on military archetypes, celebrating the fusion of pattern and function. The rest of the jacket is full to the brim with detail: two-way zips, pit zips, concealed vertical entry zips, concealed pockets, adjustable sleeves and waist. It’s a camouflage-flavoured functional feast.
