This season Red Wing Shoes are re-launching their 8801 and 8802 styles both of which feature the ‘pour on sole’ AKA SuperSole. Back in the 1980s, these classic workwear boots were one of the best selling boots in Frankfurt and thus earned themselves the nick name “Frankfurter”. Today they have been updated in the new colourways of sand and copper, as well as featuring a soft cushion collar, hooks and eyelets and Red Wing’s classic Moccasin Toe construction. Whilst the SuperSole,(which was exclusive to Red Wing back then) cushions the foot on millions of microscopic bubbles in order to create footwear that is ‘super’ shock absorbing.
The SuperSole 8801 and 8802 will be available from Wednesday 3rd July and available via Red Wing London store and redwinglondon.com.
