I’m not sure if that title is too much. It’s true though – have you ever worn a ribbed t-shirt? There’s something so satisfying about the texture. It might not translate all that well in pictures, but the sensation is great. Why are there so many standard single yarn cotton t-shirts? There should be so many more ribbed ones. Uniqlo does a nice ‘waffle’ t-shirt, which is very similar to ribbed, and also exactly what I’m doing now.
Anyway: ribbed t-shirts are great. Our Legacy has a very nice one at John Anthony. Listen – it looks simple, but it’s far from it. It’s all about the sensation. Tuck it in and layer it with an open shirt. Feel the wind in your hair. Be free.
