A subdivision of the mainline brand, Stone Island Shadow Project is known for its experimental fabrication, practical functionality and often muted colour palette. Not one to break tradition, this latest knitwear piece will no doubt tick a lot of boxes for a lot of people.
Part of the brand’s AW22 collection, it combines a bespoke mixture of cotton, viscose, wool and nylon into a heavyweight material that’s soft-to-the-touch, robust and annoyingly hard to describe. Made to exacting standards in Italy, raglan sleeves allow ease of movement when worn whilst an adjustable mock neck ensures colder weather isn’t an issue. Complete with a press stud secured kangaroo-style front pocket for smaller possessions, and a partially concealed, blacked-out compass patch sits on the sleeve.
