This season the mighty Stone Island are treating us to some special pigmented resin treated cotton canvas pieces that comes under the banner of ‘Placcato’. This magical material is created via a finished garment over dye procedure where the outer face takes on a chalky/mélange appearance, and the interior and textile parts become fully coloured by the dye recipe. The concept has been developed across a range of outerwear, (polo) shirts, trousers and accessories as well as Bermuda shorts in Nylon Metal plated over two different colour intensities with placed prints.
