After a video tease last week, various items from Stone Island’s SS22 have finally been released, in an assortment of bright, pastel and soft tones.
Items include an assortment of crew neck sweaters in pastel colours, like this turquoise jewel made in a gauzed soft cotton yarn with a stockinette stitch. Others include the same in rose quartz and a slightly thicker cotton crew in banana yellow. There’s even a chiaro green cardigan, the perfect layer for ticking both the casual and formal boxes and transforming you into the ultimate pastel-hued protagonist.
A pastel pièce de résistance takes the shape of Stone Island’s infamous Tela Smerigliata in an entirely new mint SS22 edition. The Tela Smerigliata draws heavily on military influences, blurring the lines between overshirt and jacket. The minty touch lets you relish in juxtaposition, as military aggression is flaunted in the face of soft tones.
