Heart-patterned harringtons, kumquat coloured kung fu shirts, quilted jackets with Mexican revolutionaries on the back, satanic digits and heavily embroidered tour jackets can only mean one thing, Supreme SS17 is about to ‘drop’. True to form it’s pretty much a 50/50 mix of ‘yeah I get where you’re going with this but I’m way too old/fat to get away with that’ and ‘fuck me that’s ace, I’m going to have to get one of those immediately’. Cream of the crop for me is the tremendous taped seam, 3-layer shell jacket in a rather fetching salmon colour that makes me want to jack in all this magazine business to go and deal high quality weed out in the Peak District.
