A reviewer on Klättermusen’s site said that the Nal jacket was the perfect jacket for trail runs. Lightweight and easily breathable, he commented that it was flexible enough to cope with high cardio activity while maintaining good protection against the elements.
That’s the sort of thing we’re here for: jackets have their time and place. There’s specifics about certain jackets which make them more suitable for one activity than another. The Nal jacket isn’t designed to protect you from snowstorms, but it’s great for a quick jog or a nip to the shop. Additionally, it’s made of Klättermusen’s in-house Levitend® , a hybrid of Ultramid® ‘biomass balanced polyamide’ (that’s a renewable polyamide constructed using fuel derived from vegetables, so to offset energy costs) with a standard bluesign® polyamide. So there’s a nice bit of ecological intention in there, too.
Also, it’s got a really nice curved zip. If you’re layering, that gives you room for some hoodie strings, as well as delivering a touch of flair.
