The North Face 1990 Mountain Gore-Tex Jacket

The ‘beast from the east’ hit British shores earlier today, so despite the recent onslaught of SS18, we’ll have to be putting shorts and sandals on hold for now, as those of us braving the elements are back to winter jackets for the time being. With this in mind, one coat that really sums up today’s weather and how best to combat it is North Face’s iconic 1990 Mountain Gore-Tex Jacket. This particular one is a premium model made from a fancy GORE-TEX 2L material, ensuring maximum breathability, comfort and protection from anything that the skies might throw at you. This shell is then paired with a taffeta and brushed tricot drop lining, which acts as a very light fleece, or perhaps a warm hug in these conditions. Finally, you’ve got three internal security pockets and two large pockets on the outside – handwarmers or the perfect place to store snowballs. The opportunities are endless.

This technical jacket has been doing the rounds for over 18 years now, and not much has changed since 1990. Head over to Working Class Heroes to grab a piece of outerwear history. Available in both Teal and Vintage White.
