Universal Works has long been one of our favourite labels and its AW17 collection has only further enhanced the special bond we/I share with the brand. Unveiled at Pitti and Paris Fashion Week, Universal Works may have created their best work yet.
Maintaining the Dutch hipster look, the Nottingham label’s workwear, streetwear and tailoring vibes remain strong. The collection includes their typically attentive approach to cut and fabric – including wool, Scottish tweed and luxury yarns – and the earthy palette of golds mustards, olives and charcoals.
Standout pieces include that striped woollen outerwear fleece that your dad would wear and the relaxed-fit pants that would look equally as fitting down the off license with slippers and a hoodie as it would with a big coat and a pair of decent trainers.
Universal Works delivers again. See for yourself. Visit their website for more information.
