We’re going shoe mad on the website at the moment aren’t we? And the footwear-fest continues next month when issue 14 is out and we talk about trainers.
For now though our focus is firmly fixed on Veras.
The brand hasn’t been around that long, but the man behind it certainly has. Neil Morris was behind cult casual store Drooghi in Cardiff and also the Rather Not Say brand, before relocating to Spain to consider his next move. Inspiration came in the form of shoes and the rest is history.
The latest landmark came when the Veras website was launched recently. Check it out. http://www.verashoes.com/
Their Autumn/Winter offerings are ever-so-Iberian flavoured but in a way that makes them fit perfectly on the British streets. I could imagine these being worn by one of those short, fat Spanish blokes who sit outside bars wearing Lacoste polos, munching chorizo and yet they also look great on a younger, more style conscious bloke as these shots below show.
If you’re after something that tip toes the line between smart and casual, formal and relaxed and yes, Spanish old man and smart British lad then you need not look any further. Veras fit the bill like a muzzle on a duck.

Great shoes. Great styling. Great shots. Nice one.
Some cracking pictures. Any idea what make the orange smock and green over-shirt are?
