Woolrich are continuing to push the big jacket envelope via their ongoing partnership with GORE-TEX® and the latest incarnation of their legendary GTX Mountain jacket. For SS18 the GTX has become two overlapping garments that can be worn together or individually depending on the climate. When worn together they combine strengths like a transformer (Parkatron?) to become a seriously warm padded parka whilst on it’s own the inner layer provides a down jacket to see you through the end of winter/start of Spring whilst the outer shell provides the perfect light parka for summer. So essentially you’ve got three coats here for the price of one there, not bad eh? Although this could add some serious extra time to any pre-going out coat decisions scenarios. Those special times where our better halves find themselves rolling their eyes at the sight of a grown man surrounded by loads of coats and looking dead flustered whilst trying to decide what to put on for a 5 minute walk to the pub.
