Woolrich and Daiki Suzuki have always worked well together and personally I still long for those days when he was at the helm of the Woollen Mills line of incredible jackets. Well the great news is that Mr EG has done a capsule collection for Woolrich that’s full of their signature Buffalo check and lots of other archival gems. Fusing trademark EG influences such as military, sports and workwear the collection comprises authentic American materials such as grey homespun wool, flannel cottons, brown duck canvas, corduroy (yes!) and some rather lovely double cloth cotton sateen. I’m not dreaming of a white christmas any more, I’m dreaming of a multi-layered red and black one.
