adidas Archive picks at JD Sports

The kids at adidas Originals are ambassadoring the shit out of things this season and spoiling all of us who have a love of the Die Marke mit den Drei Streifen.

Seemingly inspired by the lads with the three stripes collaborations with White Mountaineering, Adi’s ‘latest drops’ (Boom! Down wit da kidz yo) at JD Sports includes trackie tops, jackets, tees and sweats. The Reflex hoody is a bit of a techy gem and the Itasca Jacket is pure scouse X Japanese steez that is sure to set car alarms off at 30 paces.

All the pieces in the latest collection are inspired by or are modern updates to true 1990’s pieces that have been adidas favourites throughout the years.

The magic in the drop (there I go again) is undoubtedly the men’s Climacool 1 trainers. A revamp of the 2000s running legend, Adidas points out that “with 360 degrees of climacool ventilation for exceptional breathability. Built with a textile and synthetic upper to keep the foot fresh, even the midsole keeps air flowing in and out. With a moulded midsole for enhanced cushioning, adiprene+ in the forefoot absorbs shock and returns it as propulsive energy for a swift, responsive ride every step of the way”.

That’s as may be but to these eyes they look like a sexy alligator who also has a softer side but keeps the softer side under wraps until it’s sure that spark is really there. Look at them. You can see it too yeah? Thought so.

All of the gear is available at JD Sports and is perfect for the summer that will arrive soon. Probably. Maybe. Hopefully.
