Get Better – 8 years on the road with Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls

James_North_Photo_5450

Imagine being on tour with Frank Turner and his band for eight years? Imagine how many vans and vans they got through in that time. Well that’s what photographer Ben Morse has been up to who started snapping his musical mate back in the early days before they were  playing to sold out arenas around the world. What’s interesting is that their trajectory is perfectly documented in these intimate photographs as the years go by and they ‘get better’ as the size of the venues are turned up to eleven and Ben also evolves from happy snapper to professional photographer. House of Vans are currently hosting a free exhibition of these insightful photographs which is open to the public until Sunday 31st and well worth a shufty.
