Fred Perry x Raf Simons AW19

The latest get together betwixt Raf and Fred is another celebration of British subculture, interpreted through the use of dropped shoulders, embroidery, unexpected graphic prints and logos, alongside an exhibition curated by Youth Club. The latter featuring the work of George Plemper who taught on the notorious Thamesmead estate where Clockwork Orange was filmed and he documented the lives of the kids he taught. The exhibition also showcases the photography of Gavin Watson who took thousands of snaps of of him and his mates whilst growing up during the late 70s and early 80s.

Though it’s not all about referencing our glorious past as the collection features an amazing interactive ‘shoppable’ look book centred around a house party whereby users can check out the pieces by visiting all the different rooms. Blurring the boundaries between fiction and reality the partygoers wear pieces from the collection and users can wander through the house, encountering a series of micro-narratives and hidden clues along the way. Find out more here it’s pretty cool.
