I’ve had to cheat and choose a couple of ‘outfits’.
1 Suit (and formal shirt and tie)
2 Formal black shoes
3 Casual boots/shoes (preferably Dessies) that can be dressed up or down
4 Trainers or Canvas Pumps
5 Decent worn in jeans (preferably selvedge but if you only have one pair then possibly not practical)
6 Cords or Chinos (Dockers are a great shout if the right cut for you)
7 Check Shirt
8 Polo shirt – goes without saying it has to be 12th Man 😉
9 Winter coat (overcoat is a good shout as covers various outfits)
10 Smart casual jacket (e.g. Harrington)
11 Work out ‘kit’: It’s pointless having decent clothing if you look a mess in it!
12 DIY ‘kit’: No matter how little you do everyone needs something old they can do jobs round the house in. Can be decent old stuff but better than getting newer stuff ‘messed up’.
Missed so much off but those are the rules!
Anything by Fruit Of The Loom.

Simple.
1. A suit (does this count as one item?) – navy or grey.
2. A pair of black leather shoes.
3. A black leather belt.
4. A pair of denim jeans.
5. A pair of shorts – tan or khaki.
6. A 3/4 length overcoat – black.
7. A blue polo shirt.
8. A white dress shirt.
9. A pair of black Converse All Stars.
10. A white t-shirt.
11. A simple ‘block’ colour tie.
12. A pair of black cotton socks.
This is a tough one because
1. A well fitted navy wool suit, doesn’t matter if you’re a banker or a banksman, you’ll need one at least a handful of times a year and a good one will make you feel like James Bond, Frank Sinatra and JFK rolled into one.)
2. One (or more) crisp white cotton shirt(s). A go to piece.
3. A good pair of jeans, raw, wear them in yourself for a personal patina.
4. Polo shirts – slim fit is slim, looser if you have something to cover up-colours, patterns, anything goes. Sunspel, J Lindberg, Paul Smith Jeans, Lacoste and, of course, Ralph, don’t limit yourself here.
5. Merino knits, v necks, round necks, again, any colour goes but make sure you include a grey for the schoolboy look. I like Smedley and J Lindberg.
6. Smart black shoes, I go for Oxfords
7. Brown boots, Grenson brogue boots style
8. Trainers – for me it’s Gazelle. An absolute staple that I intend staying with until I’m 60.
9. Which brings me on to: – your Adidas Originals track top of choice. Effortless.
10. Blue or black overcoat-with a suit, with jeans, a fantastic piece of kit.
11. Belstaff Roadmaster – will never go out of style. Wax it yourself for that McQueen credibility. ( Panther if you can afford it but as with the jeans, get a new one and distress yourself; never buy something that’s been treated to look older than it is.)
12. A good pair of sunglasses, the type totally depends on your face shape and taste but it’s a worthwhile investment. I like Persol because it’s less obvious than having Prada or Chanel emblazoned all over the side.
1. Oxford Shirt
2. Selvage Denim preferably worn in already.
3.A pair of re-soleable boots like red wing.
4. Canvas Rucksack
5. Ray Ban Wayfarers
6. Cotton Pocket T shirt
7. Wooly hat
8. Wax Jacket with a hood
9. A cotton sweatshirt

1. A Polo Shirt
2. A T-Shirt
3. A Casual/Gingham Shirt
4. A Plain Roundneck Sweatshirt/Jumper
5. A Plain Hooded Sweatshirt
6. An Heavy Knitted, High Neck Cardigan
