Wood Wood have gone all ‘Brian Cox’ on our ass us for their latest adi Consortium collab which believe it or not has been inspired by the indirect detection of gravitational waves in the afterglow of the Big Bang. Well at least that’s what I could make out from the press release I’ve just read. As well as blowing scientists massive minds these waves also turn out a rather visually striking design too. Which is where Wood Wood hit upon the idea of incorporating this design into their UltraBOOSTs with alternating blue and orange colour highlights found throughout both models (the mad slip on ones are for women btw). There’s definitely more than a dash of futuristic vibes here and for my my money they look like the kind of thing that Michael J Fox would have worn if Back to the Future had been set in Greater Manchester.
