This is a pretty special shoe from adidas or should I say a Spezial shoe? Based on a vintage adi lesiure shoe (called the Brisbane) belonging to Noel Gallagher the Garwen was developed by Gary Aspden and named after the large amount of clued up blokes called Gary in his native Darwen. Taking elements of the Bermuda shoe as well as the Brisbane, the resulting off white low profile beauty has bags of orthopaedic appeal and ‘crown green bowling hooligan’ swagger.
