Originally decided to coincide with the LA Olympics back in ’84 the adidas ‘Spirit of the Games’ shoe is back for 2020 in indigo and grey options. Made during something of a peak of what was a golden era for sportswear design these iconic trainers epitomise a time when anything seemed possible and new ground was being made almost every day. Though putting progressive design and new world records to one side for a minute, they’re also the type of kicks you can imagine legendary DJ Larry Leven sporting behind the decks at the Paradise Garage too. I guess you could say they’re ideal for throwing discus as well as discos!
