Back for another season and dropping this Friday, adidas Spezial AW20 delivers another high quality batch of terrace inspired apparel for twenty first century tastes. The four pocket Haslingden jacket is back in a super light version whilst the ST11 is a brand new smother in an lovely golden hue with additional apparel coming in the form of a mod trefoil sweat, logo tee, tapered navy track pants, cargo shorts and a multi panel cap. Though it’s a compact but very cool collection of clothing it’s the footwear that is really floating my Germanic sportswear boat here, with some VERY strong pieces from Mr Aspden and the team. There really is something for everyone (who’s a trainer obsessive) in this range with the HRMNY SPZL Torsion shoe being particularly mind blowing alongside a brilliant new leisure shoe known as the Newrad SPZL. As if that wasn’t enough there’s also the Alderley SPZL which is a truly stunning hybrid tennis shoe as well as Spezial’s premium take on the iconic adilette that will go very nicely with all those globe trotting Spezial towels. Well done Gary, you’ve smashed it out of the park yet again, now please can the next collection use some naming conventions from Stockport please?
