adidas x Parley link up for a recycled Superstar
adidas Originals and Parley for the Oceans have teamed up for a collection of 14 reimagined silhouettes, all designed with Parley Ocean Plastic and recycled materials.
Parley started with one intention – to help end plastic waste. Aware that one trainer alone won’t save the planet, the two brands offer a humble start.
On this pair of Superstars, the heel strap, tongue, laces and stripe webbing are all made with ocean plastic collected on the beach and recycled. Even the drop-in BOOST sole is now made with recycled content.
The entire silhouette features 50% recycled content, making a start on commitments to end plastic waste. The broader collection sees Stan Smiths, Forum and others given the recycled plastic treatment.
