Reuniting this month to push out yet another eye- bending design to the masses, the duo’s previously teased Trompe L’oeil footwear pack is back. And it’s certainly set to cause a bang.
If you’ve been eagerly awaiting the duo’s next chapter, trust me, it’s worth the wait. In fact, the collection’s adidas x Raf Simons Adilette slider is totally mind blowing. It’s been created using the French’s famous trompe-l’œil technique, which will honestly have you double-taking all day long.
Proving their hand in the art of deception, adidas and Raf warp imagery of coveted adidas silhouettes, including the Micropacer, L.A. Trainer and Torsion Conquest Super, on each of the model’s uppers. We know what you might be thinking, two for the price of one? Think again. These mash up’s stand completely on their own, tricking the eye with each and every
step.
As unorthodox as all that may sound. There’s more to take in. The sliders also boast wear and tear accents, such as the odd stain here and there and exposed glue marks draping the strap.
