Albam Spring 2020

This season one of our favourite British brands Albam have come through with a strong twentieth century vibe. Combining inter-war workwear pieces with 1970s sportswear designs, it feels like Alastair and the team have been watching early Alan Clarke and Ken Loach films for inspiration. Whilst reinforced pockets and corduroy trimmings all add to the authentic old school, manual labour mix. And the appearance of hemp being used in their sweats surely means that they’ve been listening to loads of 70s folk music too. So if you like watching Scum and listening to Jethro Tull (on massive headphones) then Albam’s Spring 2020 collection is the one for you (and I’m the daddy in this borstal).
