Albam Clothing SS18

Albam not so long ago turned ten, so to celebrate life in double digits, they’ve kicked off SS18 with another collection of contemporary yet classic British style. Take the lavender smock that we covered a few weeks back, modelled off an old military jacket but updated with a vibrant but equally tough cotton twill, equipped with deep pockets and an adjustable peaked hood, providing more than enough coverage to keep out the elements. An example of what Albam does best, take clothes once exclusive to those working in a practical nature, and reimagine them with a modern twist. This season utilising the colours lavender and navy, a nice moody palette for a summer outfit.

Another highlight is the striped Hockney shirt, made from 100% Japanese cotton. Crafted in Portugal and laundered for softness, the shirt also features an unfused collar for a soft, unstructured finish. Speaking of Iberian-made products, Albam is also well renowned for working with some of Europe’s finest craftsmen and factories, another stamp of approval from us. Here’s to another decade.
