The 5th Store’s latest offering sees a curated set of and Wander’s solid outerwear taken for a spin. The two designers behind and Wander, Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoko Mori, met while working at Issey Miyake. While they spent time working in Tokyo, it was their weekend trips to the picturesque Japanese mountains that brought them together – both socially and in the world of design. Now, The 5th has transported some of the duo’s best efforts to the equally picturesque West Yorkshire.
There’s a down jacket that pulls no punches in size and statement, and a much thinner rain jacket in Pertex Shield. Sitting at opposite ends of the spectrum, the down jacket is weighty and laden with pockets, perfect for deep winter Northern adventures. The 3L UL rain jacket, however, is far more lightweight, designed for heartracing activity. Layer it up with a fleece pullover for inner city warmth, or embrace the solo layering and heat the heart up with a trail run or trek.
Additionally, and Wander has one more winter trick up their sleeve – or lack of. This golden gilet is extensively insulated and, like the 3L UL, made of Nylon Pertex.
All of the jackets and fleeces are finished with and Wander’s signature reflective zip and trim details.
