Barbour, Bourne Camouflage Jacket

At first glimpse I didn’t notice the exact detailing on this 6oz wax Bourne jacket from Barbour’s SS12 country vintage collection but being camouflage I guess that’s the whole point isn’t it? Rather than relying on a classic DPM to jazz up their jackets, our friends from South Shields have used a range of hidden country-themed motifs to make up their own convincing camouflage pattern. Like an incredibly wearable magic-eye picture hidden within the camo design of this Beaufort-esque number are dogs, ducks, fishermen and salmon that all start to emerge upon closer inspection. Given that they look great and last forever it’s not like I ever need much convincing to get a new Barbour but I think I’ve found one I could literally lose myself in.
