Brain Dead are an ubercool LA collective of artists, designers and creative types. Founded in 2014 and spearheaded by designer Kyle Ng, the brand draws inspiration from post-punk, skateboarding, and underground comics to create funky and erratic designs across everything from parkas to tees. But it’s the sunglasses I want to talk about because, well, it’s sunny, and they’re just really, really good.
These shades, or Post Modern Primitive Eye Protection to use their official title, are crafted from sustainably sourced, biodegradable acetate and structured stainless steel core. The lenses are top notch too, with 100% UV protection. The Staunton is a brand new silhouette which joins fan favourite the Tani over at Wellgosh.
