I genuinely believe that everything in the world would be vastly improved if you covered it in corduroy. Cars, houses, politicians, I think even pets would benefit from a liberal coating of ‘Manchester cloth’. A case in point being the baseball cap which though a bonafide design classic is instantly elevated to ‘must have’ status when it’s made in this tufty, tactile material.
